Preparation

Before applying Coo-Var MDF Primer, ensure all surfaces are properly prepared to achieve the best results:

• Clean all surfaces thoroughly to remove dust, dirt, grease, and any other contaminants.
• Ensure surfaces are dry, sound, and free from flaking or loose material.
• For new MDF or wood, lightly sand the surface to create a suitable key for the primer to adhere to.
• For previously painted surfaces, clean and degrease thoroughly, then sand to create a uniform, matte surface that allows for proper adhesion.
• Remove all loose or flaking paint. Any bare or exposed areas should be treated as a new substrate and prepared accordingly.

Application

• Stir thoroughly before use to ensure even consistency.
• Apply only when the ambient and surface temperature is above 7°C.
