 The \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin Jam Nut\u003c\/strong\u003e is what Locks the \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin\u003c\/strong\u003e into place.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe “Adjustable” \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin\u003c\/strong\u003e allows the Truck to operate at its optimum angles to provide the best action with the variance of the tensions on the tight.  The \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pins\u003c\/strong\u003e are installed into the \u003cstrong\u003eTrucks\u003c\/strong\u003e with BLUE Removable Lock-Tight.  You can get them loose, with a lot of effort, but it is sometimes necessary and very important, to have the proper adjustment.\u003cbr\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eHow to Adjust the Pivot Pin\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin\u003c\/strong\u003e should be fully seated into the bottom of the \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin Cup\u003c\/strong\u003e.  There should be NO Side to Side (when twisting the Truck with your hands) or Up and Down movement of the Pivot Pin (when pushing straight down on the Truck over top of the Pivot Pin shank) in the \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin Cup\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBe sure to NOT run the \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin\u003c\/strong\u003e Out too far or lengthen it to where the \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin\u003c\/strong\u003e is pushing on the \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin Cup\u003c\/strong\u003e and excerting pressure on the \u003cstrong\u003eSuspensions\u003c\/strong\u003e (Cushions) and therefore the \u003cstrong\u003eKing Pin\u003c\/strong\u003e, and actually changing the \u003cstrong\u003eAngle of Action\u003c\/strong\u003e.  This is not a good thing.  The adjustment should be solid, but do not over-do-it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOnce the \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin\u003c\/strong\u003e is in the correct position, hold that position with the 6mm wrench.  Use a 13mm Wrench and tighten the \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin Jam Nuts \u003c\/strong\u003eagainst the shoulder on the \u003cstrong\u003eTruck\u003c\/strong\u003e.  This needs to be as tight as is physically possible.  Lay the Skate on its side and actually lean on it and put your body weight into the tightening.  Remember to hold the \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin\u003c\/strong\u003e in the correct position with the 7mm wrench, as it will tend to rotate with the tightening of the \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin Jam Nut\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin\u003c\/strong\u003e is a hardened Titanium and therefore much stronger than the Aluminum \u003cstrong\u003eTruck\u003c\/strong\u003e internal threads that holds the \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin\u003c\/strong\u003e.  If the \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin\u003c\/strong\u003e is allowed to be loose (with the \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin Jam Nut\u003c\/strong\u003e not tightened), eventually the \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin\u003c\/strong\u003e will wallar out (or make open) the threads of the Aluminum \u003cstrong\u003eTruck\u003c\/strong\u003e.  At this point, no matter how tight you get the \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin Jam Nut\u003c\/strong\u003e, it will NOT stay tight and will loosen up, because of the openess of the threads in the Aluminum \u003cstrong\u003eTruck\u003c\/strong\u003e.  The way to correct this issue is to replace the \u003cstrong\u003eTruck\u003c\/strong\u003e with \u003cstrong\u003eAxle\u003c\/strong\u003e assembly and make sure the \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pins\u003c\/strong\u003e are adjusted properly and the \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin Jam Nuts\u003c\/strong\u003e are kept VERY tight.  \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRoll-Line\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e recommends in their manual, that the \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pins\u003c\/strong\u003e be checked once a week.  I am sure there are Skaters that have never checked their \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin\u003c\/strong\u003e adjustments, much less are, checking them once a week.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMovement of the \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin\u003c\/strong\u003e in the \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin Cup\u003c\/strong\u003e will wear out or destroy the high quality Delrin, \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pin Cup\u003c\/strong\u003e.  If these get torn up, due to improperly adjusted \u003cstrong\u003ePivot Pins\u003c\/strong\u003e, it
