Overview

Fill and seal awkward gaps and holes with Polycells, quick-setting, expanding foam. Formulated for use in both interior and exterior projects the liquid foam fills holes creating a long-lasting seal that insulates against heat, sound, and moisture. Once dry it can be easily trimmed and sanded ready to be painted, filled, or plastered.

Preparation

Always ensure the surface to be painted is clean, dry, and free from any contaminates. Cover surrounding areas and mask off any brickwork.

Application

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the packaging. Test on a small area of the surface to ensure compatibility.

• Do not apply in temperatures below 5°C or above 25°C.
• Carefully screw the nozzle fully onto the valve, do not force.
• Moisten the surface to be filled to help the foam cure and expand.
• Shake can vigorously approx 30 times.
• Apply light pressure to begin, to ensure the valve is working.
• Start filling from the lowest point, shaking can occasionally during use. Foam will expand 2.5 times the initial volume.
• If building up in layers, spray lightly with water between layers to help fully cure.
• Remove any foam spillage immediately with nail varnish remover.
• Foam will be tack free from 15 minutes and surface dry in 30 minutes. It can be cut, sanded or painted after 12 hours.

If exposed to sunlight the foam must be painted or over-coated.
