Overview

Owatrol Owaphos Rust Remover Phosphate Degreaser is the solution for rust removal and surface preparation, designed for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including galvanized and zinc-coated surfaces. By generating a fine oxide coat on the surface, Owaphos ensures coatings adhere securely, eliminating potential adhesion issues.

• Restores the shine to chromed surfaces that have been affected by limescale

Preparation

On heavily rusted surfaces treat with Owatrol Oil or mechanically prepare the surface back to bright clean metal

• Surface must be clean, dry and free of oil, grease and other surface contamination.
• Clean surface with Pura-Trol, Soapclean or a suitable solvent e.g. Acetone.
• Allow the surface to fully dry.

Application

Dilute for optimal performance.

• Apply using a brush or roller
• Wear chemical resistant gloves, safety goggles and protective clothing
• Allow to work 15 to 30 minutes depending on severity of rust being treated
• Repeat process if required
• Once the desired result has been achieved rinse thoroughly with fresh, clean water – DO NOT scrub the surface.

Aftercare & Storage

Store in the original container and close the lid tightly after use. Keep from freezing and high temperatures.
